A qualified inspector will know what to look for, and what questions to ask the seller to get you as much information as possible.

Next you should request a well water purity and water flow test to make sure that there are no harmful bacteria or contaminates in the well water. The water flow test will determine the output rate of the well. A flow rate of 3 or more gallons per minute for a period of time is normally recommended to ensure that there is adequate water available.
